Nut Graf

         A Nut Graf is a slang term used by Journalists. It is basically a paragraph in a story. The nut Graf usually states why the story is important and most of the major details. I sort of acts like a hook in an exposit essay because it is explaining to the reader why they should keep reading.
          Nut Grafs usually follow the inverted triangle. That means that the most important things should be said first, followed by the second most important thing, and lastly the least important details should be said last.
