Some of the tips that were listed were to put the subject out of their comfort zone. Another tip was just the opposite, to make the subject comfortable and confident to achieve a powerful image. a. I picked this photo because it stood out to me since it had so much negative space which I would have thought would be bad, but it actually makes for a more interesting photograph. b. In this picture, the Rule of Thirds and Simplicity is used because the background is solid white and the subject is to the far left of the picture. c. The website doesn't say who took the photo, but I don't think it's a self portrait, I think it was an actual photographer who took it.
