Best of 2017

I think Young Dumb & Broke by Khalid was one of the best songs of 2017 because it is pretty catchy and a good song. I chose this song because it described what was happening in 2017 pretty well.

I think Wonder Woman was one of the best movies of 2017. This is because it was interesting to watch and had a good message which is that women can be strong and also empathetic. I chose this movie because I remember seeing it in theaters and being really impressed with it.

Donald Trump's presidency was the most popular news story of 2017. There are countless stories about what he has done including the wall, several bans, and more. These are popular because they are quite controversial. I picked this news story because it's arguably the main thing that people talked about in 2017.

Some of the most important people from 2017 in my opinion were The Dreamers, undocumented immigrants brought to the US. This is because of some of Trump's bans which put certain people in dangerous and scary situations. Dreamers have led several protests in 2017.

One of the biggest sports stories of 2017 in my opinion was when a football team kneeled during the National Anthem as a protest against Trump and Racial injustice. This was controversial but definitely made an impact in 2017.

My Holiday

1. One thing that I will always remember about my Winter Break is that my family adopted two puppies. Winter Break consisted of trying to potty train them and spend lots of time with them!

2. Some resolutions for my 2018 is to eat healthier, drink more water, and get straight A's in school.

3. In 2018, I'm looking forward to getting my learner's permit and finishing my freshman year of high school at Bowie!
