What Makes a Killer Time-lapse - TED Blog:
https://blog.ted.com/how-to-create-a-killer-timelapse-with-joe-capra/
There was a four minute video on this website that was a mash up of a ton of different time-lapses shot in Rio de Janeiro. There are lots of locations that the photographer shot, like waterfalls, ski lifts, beaches, and more. The photographer was also interviewed so that we can know some more about his job and how he does it.
a. In the video, there were many locations like beaches, roads, mountains, statues, and more. Some locations were shot with camera moving around a certain point, but others were shot with the camera stationary to get the full effect of the motion.
b. The photographer is Joe Capra. He has traveled thousands of miles to dozens of new places to take time-lapse videos. He is from Los Angeles and takes pictures for big organizations like National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and more.
c. Capra got hires to take pictures for a TV company who wanted him to do time-lapses. They asked him where he wanted to go, and he said that Rio was high on his list, so that is where they sent him.
d. I learned that Capra learned that he wanted to take time-lapses when he saw one of the first time-lapse videos of the Milky Way Galaxy by Tom Lowe and got inspired.

a. I chose this picture because it was the first one that I looked at for a really long time to try to figure out what it was. The longer I look at it, the more confused I get, which makes this great photograph.
b. Leading Lines are used in this image because of the railings that surround the picture and also the yellow posts that go down the center of the image.
c. Photographer Christian Richter took this photo.

a. I chose this picture because it inspired me of what I wanted to do for my portrait project. I had some idea but this picture helped me think it through. It's also a very powerful image since the subject is looking straight at the camera.
b. Simplicity is used because the background is plain.
c. The photographer and blogger is Jenna Martin.
