The Best Story                                           

 I think this photo tells the story that two girls are doing a science lab, and the girl closest to the camera was surprised at the reaction the lab had which was that it started to smoke.                                                                 

                  

Action and Emotion

The action in this picture is the woman walking across the stage. The emotion in this picture is the smile on her face telling the viewer that she is happy to be graduating. 

                                                                                                                  

The Most Interesting Stuff

This picture fills the frame with the most interesting stuff because the flying sparks are interesting and fill up the majority of the photo.

2012 Jostens Photo Contest Winners:

1. I picked this photo because I liked the angle is was taken at and I like how it's in black and white.

2. There is simplicity in this photo because of the plain background, mergers were avoided, and the lines of the bottoms of the bookshelves are leading lines.

1. For my next photo shoot which is academic based, I could take photos in the library or in classrooms where there is something interesting going on.

2. I would like to visit Ms. Hall's room because she always has fun things going on and everyone is always smiling in her class.

3. During the shoot, I can try to take picture from different angles rather than straight on, like the photo I chose for the 2012 winners, and I can try to capture people's emotions like most of the pictures I chose for the 2017 winners.
